Holistic Child Development (HCD) is a holistic approach to child development that seeks to address simultaneously, the physical, emotional, relational, intellectual and spiritual aspects of a child’s life.  The HCD M.A. Degree is a comprehensive course of study especially designed for child-care practitioners, Youth Pastors and youth workers, and for persons entering the field for the first time with a burning desire to serve children in the best way possible.  The curriculum is designed and delivered within a Christian, Biblical framework.

Basic Entry Requirements:

Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 2.7 GPA.

The institution seeks to integrate morality and ethics into the practice of business and industry, to bring a stronger sense of ethical values to the social professions, to demonstrate an interest in the ethical aspects of environment issues, and to integrate Christian principles and values into the lifestyle of society and in the conduct of business. 

The academic programme is designed to complement rather than compete with other graduate business programmes; with the differentiation of sound business education delivered within the context of the Christian world view. 

The MBA programme is specially designed to meet the standards and convenience of busy working professionals who wish to complete Graduate education without interrupting their careers or interfering with their professional responsibilities. The knowledge and perspectives gained at every stage of the programme can be applied immediately to the candidates’ real world situation.  

Degree Awarded: Master of Arts (M.A.)

Duration: 30 Months (2 1/2 years)

Admission Requirements

All candidates admitted to the programme should have:

  • The minimum qualifications of an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least three (3) years of full-time relevant work experience as a manager, supervisor or related professional in business, public service or non-profit organizations.

Applicants whose undergraduate degrees and work experience do not provide the level of competency in core business areas to form an adequate background for advanced graduate study in business, may be required to complete one or more pre-requisite courses before being admitted to the MBA Programme.


Since 1987 the Caribbean Graduate School’s Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology programme has been training Christian counsellors for service in both the Church and the Caribbean society. The counselling programme exhibits three dominant features: its theological underpinning, its theoretical knowledge and its hands-on experience. 

The Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree Program is designed for those preparing to serve as Christian Counsellors in both the church and wider society. The program is structured as a stepping-stone to doctoral studies in Counselling Psychology and other specialized areas of Psychology. 

Graduates of the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program, who are now serving as guidance counsellors in schools and elsewhere, indicate that they are indeed utilizing the training received at the Graduate School and the learning gained in the School’s curriculum.

This degree falls under the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences.

  • A degree from an accredited University or College, with honours or GPA of 3.0.
  • Students to be Interviewed by the head of The Faculty of Behavioural Studies


The M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies is designed primarily for individuals who desires a balanced programme of graduate study with  a strong multi-disciplinary foundation combined with an area of major. The programme will enable the graduate to function effectively in church and society. 

It is a non-thesis and interdisciplinary programme consisting of nineteen (19) courses - eleven 11 theological core course and eight (8) emphases courses. 

This masters degree falls under Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies.
