President's Message
Welcome to the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology (CGST)
Welcome to the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology (CGST)—a distinguished institution committed to Equipping the Called. As President, I am honoured to serve a school with a legacy of academic excellence, spiritual formation, and regional impact.
In recent years, CGST has embraced a season of strategic growth and innovation. Our 2022–2027 Strategic Plan charts a bold course for expanding our reach and deepening our impact across the English-speaking Caribbean and among diaspora communities in Florida, New York, and Eastern Canada. With God’s help, we are positioning CGST to be the premier centre for theological, psychological, and leadership training in the region and beyond.
To serve a broader and more diverse community of learners, we are now offering a growing number of creative micro-credentials at the undergraduate level. These include:
- Child Protection and the Law I and II
- Introduction to Personal Evangelism
- Introduction to Digital Essentials
These programs complement our foundational courses in psychology and theological studies—including New Testament Greek and Biblical Hebrew. Additionally, several master's-level counselling courses are available as stand-alone modules, providing greater flexibility for continuing education and professional development.
Looking ahead, CGST is actively exploring the introduction of doctoral-level programs, including the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), to further support the academic and ministerial advancement of Christian leaders in the Caribbean and the global diaspora.
Our vision is rooted in the conviction that education is not merely about academic achievement, but about spiritual formation, leadership development, and service to others. We are cultivating a vibrant, Christ-centered learning environment where creativity thrives, excellence is pursued, and lives are transformed.
I invite you to explore our programmes, connect with our dedicated faculty, and become part of a dynamic community committed to truth, justice, compassion, and the advancement of God’s kingdom.
With God’s grace and your support, CGST will continue to be a beacon of light—raising up leaders who will shape the future of the church, the academy, and society at large.
Thank you for joining us on this journey.
Rev. Anthony Oliver, Ph.D.
